Remarks: Green Terrors have shining blue-green bodies with orange or white trim on the edges of their fins. The orange and white trims give them another common name, the Gold or White Saum. There is still some debate about the differences and whether they represent two distinct species or one species with variation. A pair can be managed in a 90 gallon tank but a larger system will be needed if one plans to keep more than one. These large cichlids can do well in large community tanks with other large and aggressive Central and South American species, though aggression will worsen if pairs form.
